Wondering how to grow your following? .
.
Don’t want to waste time and money on fake followers.
.
.
I use this 10 tips daily with all my social media clients to grow their following organically- with actual, real potential clients in their market
1. Use geotagging (location tagging)
With just a snap you can put a location on your post. So when people are searching a particularly location they might stumble upon you
.
2. use stories everyday- you’ll get double or triple more views than on the grid
People like to channel serve often on Instagram and don’t usually stumble upon your grid very often as opposed to the stories and discovery panel.
.
3.Use pretty colors and patterns that match your brand
use a site like Canva (www.canva.com) , the Over app (www.madewithover.com) or the adobe spark (spark.adobe.com) app to create some amazing graphics that match your brand and color scheme
.
4. Comment, interact with people liking your work and FOLLOW THEM
.
It is called “social” media marketing after all. The more that your social with people, the more they would want to work with you in the future.
.
5. DM particular people about your services and to collaborate
If you see the same particular people commenting and liking your posts often, then reaching out through a personal message might be really helpful to capture their attention
6. Use strategic hashtags that help to find people in your interest and area.
You can have up to 30 hashtags on your post. Make sure if you can think of any hashtags -then using a generator hashtag app might be helpful!
7.Use video content or IGTV
HGTV is a great place to do tutorial videos, behind the scenes content, how to videos any even reviews of products.
.
people are more likely to click on a video or buy a product based on a video than a picture.
8.Follow everyone who liked your posts
.
When you follow someone, it shows up on their notifications and so they are more likely to follow you back if they see you in the front of their dashboard
9. Follow hashtags in your area and interest
.
Search in the discovery panel for hashtags that relate to your topic area. If you’re a hair and make up artist, then finding other hair and make up artists in your local city might be great for collaboration and for liking and sharing content.
10. Repost from local artists and host events, broadcast or shout outs
.
.
Have anybody that has tagged you recently in a post or a review of your product, or business?
.
This is a great place to thank them personally for stopping by and taking the time to review or share content with your page.
Bonus: post daily and at the peak times for people to be online.
.
.
6 to 9 AM, 12-3PM and 6 to 9 PM are the peak times that people are on their phone or interacting with content.
Have any other helpful tips? I would love to hear your feedback and your review of how using these strategies and tips help to your business this month.
